When Montii relocated to their new headquarters, it was an opportunity to create more than just a functional workplace. Together, we set out to design an environment that reflected the personality of the brand while supporting the people behind it every day.

From the beginning, it was clear this project wasn't about filling a warehouse with desks and meeting rooms. It was about creating a workplace that felt welcoming, inspiring and unmistakably Montii—one where creativity could flourish, collaboration happened naturally and the team genuinely enjoyed spending time together.

​

Rather than approaching the warehouse as one large space, we designed each zone around its purpose. The offices were intentionally kept light, calm and uncluttered to support focus and creative thinking, while shared spaces embraced the playful personality of the brand. The Zen Den quickly became the heart of the workplace—a space for team lunches, celebrations, workshops, photoshoots and everyday connection.

One of my favourite moments was seeing the large-scale mural installed across the exposed concrete wall. It instantly transformed the space, giving the team a place that felt uniquely theirs and anchoring the culture and energy of the business. Another highlight was reimagining the original kitchen into Steph's office, complete with custom detailing and a branded backdrop that continues to frame countless meetings and video calls.

The project also included a dedicated meeting room, flexible office spaces and a pop-up retail area that proved so successful it naturally evolved into a permanent showroom. Seeing the space continue to adapt alongside the business has been one of the most rewarding parts of the project.

Every commercial project reminds me that good workplace design isn't just about where people work—it's about how they work, connect and recharge. I visit Montii HQ regularly and seeing the spaces being used exactly as intended makes me happy. The laughter in the Zen Den, the creative energy throughout the offices and the pride the team has in their workplace are all reminders that thoughtful design has the power to shape company culture just as much as it shapes a space.
